Cardboard Ice Cream Containers

Sweet Bliss Containers

I finally found cardboard ice cream containers!  These quart containers are made by Sweet Bliss, and come 25 to a pack.  I’ve used tons of them already, and they’re perfect. They also have the same thing in pint size.  You can also buy them directly from the Sweet Bliss web site.

If you’re outside the USA and having trouble ordering the Sweet Bliss containers, try ordering the 32oz “Paper Food Containers” from Ace Mart. I’ve used them as well, and they’re just as good. Order the clear plastic lids from them separately. They’re in the USA but they seem to ship overseas.

In the UK, try ordering the 16oz and 32oz “Paper Soup Containers” from Cater For You. Order the paper or clear plastic lids from them separately.

Let me know if you hear of another place that sells containers like these in small quantities.

Thankyou for finding these! I’ve been searching the whole internet, ice cream forums and all, for some ice cream containers like this(all the other places I found I would have to buy quantities of like 200!).

Also, great ice cream blog! I’m pretty experienced with making ice cream, but i’ve been able to learn a few new things from some of your articles.

Thanks, and I encourage you to keep posting (I know its easy to get lazy!)

Amazon has the pint-sized version too – same maker.

Thanks Patrick! Looks like they’re no longer making the ones with different colors, but these plain white ones look like they should be the same otherwise. And pint sized now — great.

You can find them at Ace Mart, a restaurant supply store, where they sell for $4.50 for 25 pint size containers and $6.45 for 50 lids for the containers. http://www.acemart.com/catering/disposable-catering-supplies/disposable-food-containers/c1172-c1177-c1199-p1.html or if there is a store in your area you can pick them up. I’m in the Dallas area where there are five stores.

The same 16oz pint sized containers carried by Sweet Bliss can be purchased at Smart and Final. They are manufactered by Hahtumaki who makes containers for Chinet paper goods and the Solo cup company. I used them all the time. The only bad thing is Smart and Final doesn’t carry the 32oz quart size. I ordered those from WEBstaurant.com. Even though the shipping cost is more at WEBstaurant it still comes out cheaper than Sweet Bliss if you purchase by the case as I did.

Oh forgot to mention Smart and Final price for 16oz size was $5.99 for 25 cups and $3.73 for 25 lids

You can also get both pint and quart containers and lids at Cash & Carry (A Smart & Final company, I believe). They carry Solo brand.

Hi, we are running a student run company at NMSU and we are producing and selling gelato. We are looking for a gallon-size cardboard container, so if anybody knows where to find some we will appreciate it!

I am envious as these are not available from Amazon in the UK! Has anyone found the 1 pint containers over here, other than via catering specialists offering only huge volume? Nigella used them in one of her tv programmes as if they are easy to get hold of but they are not!

    Hi Aly,

I obviously haven’t tried them, but take a look at the 16oz and 32oz “Paper Soup Containers” at this company in the UK:

    http://www.cater4you.co.uk/acatalog/paper-soup-containers.html

They have “Vented Paper Lids” as well. These look exactly like the ones I buy for ice cream, and it looks like you can buy them in packs of 25.

Looking for a place to buy these in Canada, anyone have any luck finding these in low minimums? Sweet Bliss/Amazon will not ship this product to my address (BOO).

    Any help would be appreciated.

It’s worth noting that ice cream container are much more commonly sold as paper soup containers, as far as i can tell they’re basically the same thing!

Take a look at these for example: http://innsupplies.com/disposable/soup-cups – i’ve put small frozen desserts in these before.

Can anyone confirm? Are they actually the same items with different names?

Paper/Bio containers are the way forward! It’s such a problem that a lot of places still use polystyrene/plastic containers since we go through so many of them!

I’ve used this provider for the past 4 years for my paper cups for ice cream, they get printed/branded and delivered in no time!

the restaurant store has them; from 4 OZ up to Qt with lids. My daughters and sons wedding days were both here, and I had to make Ice cream for everyone. I used the 8 OZ cup size, I did 9 gal for each wedding. they are fantastic. I was looking for the Dixie cup ones, but these worked great. I even found wooded paddle spoons. but don’t buy them on line, shipping will kill ya. I hope Sweet bliss has better shipping. it’s exciting to know.
