You can find them at Ace Mart, a restaurant supply store, where they sell for $4.50 for 25 pint size containers and $6.45 for 50 lids for the containers. http://www.acemart.com/catering/disposable-catering-supplies/disposable-food-containers/c1172-c1177-c1199-p1.html or if there is a store in your area you can pick them up. I’m in the Dallas area where there are five stores.

The same 16oz pint sized containers carried by Sweet Bliss can be purchased at Smart and Final. They are manufactered by Hahtumaki who makes containers for Chinet paper goods and the Solo cup company. I used them all the time. The only bad thing is Smart and Final doesn’t carry the 32oz quart size. I ordered those from WEBstaurant.com. Even though the shipping cost is more at WEBstaurant it still comes out cheaper than Sweet Bliss if you purchase by the case as I did.

Oh forgot to mention Smart and Final price for 16oz size was $5.99 for 25 cups and $3.73 for 25 lids

You can also get both pint and quart containers and lids at Cash & Carry (A Smart & Final company, I believe). They carry Solo brand.

I am envious as these are not available from Amazon in the UK! Has anyone found the 1 pint containers over here, other than via catering specialists offering only huge volume? Nigella used them in one of her tv programmes as if they are easy to get hold of but they are not!

They have “Vented Paper Lids” as well. These look exactly like the ones I buy for ice cream, and it looks like you can buy them in packs of 25.

It’s worth noting that ice cream container are much more commonly sold as paper soup containers, as far as i can tell they’re basically the same thing!

i was search through internet for ice cream cardboard tub. during my reseach i found this fourm;

i am interested in round tubs for our commercial use (brown Kraft paper)

approx volume as 3 gallons / 11.36 Liters / 8.12 KG
its should sustain -20 degrees of temperature

Paper/Bio containers are the way forward! It’s such a problem that a lot of places still use polystyrene/plastic containers since we go through so many of them!
